The television program remains a selling point for newspapers. Moreover, the people programs, much of the printing press thrives on television.
Today in France (national newspaper group Amaury de-regionalised version Paris, France paid circulation, 170 000 copies) has launched its television guide to be published every Saturday, inserted in the newspaper. Presented as a "freebie", it gives the program the week beginning next Sunday: 4 pages people , 3 pages of games, 2 pages of advertising (including 1 for a TV channel).

- The rest (including foreign language channels, LCI and France Ô) is rejected in outer darkness, engaged in the hell of zapping and electronic program guide.
